You will oversee the day-to-day routines of the household, from preparing meals and maintaining the home to managing supplies and keeping everyone organized. Working independently while the residents are away during the day, you will have the autonomy to establish routines, anticipate household needs, and make sure everything runs smoothly. Whether your experience comes from housekeeping, hospitality, caregiving, household management, or another service-focused environment, you are someone who believes a well-run home is built through consistency, kindness, and attention to detail. Keep everyone well fed. You will prepare nutritious breakfast, lunch, and dinner for seven residents, balancing different appetites, preferences, and personalities. Keep the household running smoothly. You will establish and maintain routines, monitor household supplies, restock essential items, and anticipate what needs to be done before it becomes an issue. Take care of the details. You will support light gardening and general home upkeep, helping ensure both the inside and outside of the residence remain well cared for. Create a positive environment. You will contribute to a household culture centred around kindness, health, respect, and teamwork. Keep the household safe. You will use sound judgment when welcoming guests, responding to unfamiliar visitors, and handling unexpected situations. What you bring The experience. You have previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, caregiving, household management, or another role where taking care of people and their environment was central to your work. Experience supporting several people within a shared living environment is an asset. The organization. You can balance multiple responsibilities, establish effective routines, manage your time independently, and recognize what needs to be prioritized throughout the day. The cooking skills. You are comfortable preparing meals for a group and understand the importance of creating nutritious, enjoyable food. Knowledge of food safety and household hygiene practices is an asset. The attention to detail. You notice the things other people might miss and take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable environment. The people skills. You are caring, patient, approachable, and service-oriented. You can build positive relationships with people who have different personalities, preferences, and needs. The judgment.
