About the Role

We are seeking a highly collaborative and pragmatic Technology Specialist to join our team in Arkansas. As manufacturing operations become increasingly complex, the need for smart, AI-driven solutions has never been greater. However, the success of these technologies relies entirely on the people using them.

In this full-time role, you will serve as the critical bridge between advanced artificial intelligence capabilities and our frontline manufacturing teams. Your primary focus will be driving AI adoption and uncovering ways to solve persistent operational bottlenecks using emerging tech. You will not be coding in a vacuum; you will be walking the manufacturing floor, listening to a predominantly non-technical workforce, and translating their daily challenges into actionable, technology-driven solutions.

What You'll Do

Identify Operational Bottlenecks: Partner closely with plant managers, shift supervisors, and floor operators to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and daily frustrations.
Drive AI Solutions: Evaluate, select, and pilot AI-driven technologies designed to solve specific manufacturing challenges—ranging from predictive maintenance and quality assurance to supply chain optimization.
Translate and Bridge the Gap: Act as the primary liaison between complex technical systems and a non-technical workforce, breaking down high-level AI concepts into accessible, practical language.
Lead Change Management: Champion the adoption of new technologies on the floor. Design and deliver intuitive training sessions, create user-friendly documentation, and build trust to ensure smooth transitions.
Manage Implementation: Oversee the end-to-end deployment of new software and hardware solutions in a rugged manufacturing environment, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Monitor and Optimize: Track the performance, adoption rates, and return on investment of deployed AI technologies, gathering continuous user feedback to iterate and improve the systems.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep a constant pulse on emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and industrial technology, proactively assessing how new tools might benefit Scorecard Lab's operations.

What You'll Bring

Relevant Experience: Proven track record of managing technology implementations, ideally within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or a similarly complex operational environment.
AI Acumen: Strong foundational knowledge of current artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, specifically how they are applied to solve practical business problems.
Exceptional Empathy and Communication: The ability to actively listen to a non-technical workforce, validate their concerns regarding new technology, and communicate solutions clearly and respectfully without relying on industry jargon.
Change Management Skills: Experience guiding teams through digital transformation, with a focus on user adoption, workflow integration, and overcoming resistance to change.
Problem-Solving Mindset: A hands-on, analytical approach to troubleshooting both technical glitches and operational inefficiencies.
Location Flexibility: Ability to be based in Arkansas with the willingness to travel locally to various manufacturing sites and facilities as needed.

Nice to Have

Experience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms and how they feed data into AI/ML models.
Background in continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
Previous experience designing technical training programs for frontline or blue-collar workers.
