About Scorecard Lab (Sandbox)

At Scorecard Lab (Sandbox), we operate at the dynamic intersection of data integrity, supply chain operations, and technological innovation. We are dedicated to building and testing next-generation data solutions that empower e-commerce ecosystems and complex logistics networks. Our "Sandbox" environment serves as a rigorous testing ground where we iterate, validate, and perfect critical data workflows before they are deployed at scale. We pride ourselves on creating a collaborative environment where analytical thinkers and problem solvers can thrive, ensuring that our partners have the precise, real-time metrics they need to drive their businesses forward.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented QA Publish Scratch - Inventory Analyst to join our team in Mississauga, ON for a full-time position. This unique role bridges the critical gap between physical inventory management and digital data quality assurance. You will be the primary gatekeeper for our inventory data, ensuring that stock levels, product metadata, and supply chain metrics are flawlessly published and synchronized across all internal systems and client-facing platforms.

As our QA Publish Scratch - Inventory Analyst, you will not only analyze daily stock movements but also rigorously test the systems that report them. You will investigate data discrepancies from scratch, design test cases for new inventory publishing features, and ensure that our digital catalogs reflect the physical reality of our fulfillment centers. If you have a passion for supply chain analytics, a sharp eye for systemic bugs, and the drive to build robust QA processes from the ground up, we want you on our team.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports to identify trends, stock variances, and root causes of discrepancies across multiple facilities.
  • Lead the Quality Assurance (QA) process for inventory data publishing, ensuring that real-time stock levels are accurately mapped and reflected across all digital platforms.
  • Design, document, and execute "scratch" test scenarios to validate new inventory tracking logic, catching data mapping errors and bugs before production rollouts.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering, warehouse operations, and product teams to resolve data synchronization failures and optimize system architecture.
  • Conduct deep-dive investigations into damaged, missing, or quarantined inventory, reconciling physical warehouse counts with digital system records.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting dashboards that track critical inventory health metrics, including stockout rates, turnover velocity, and data publishing latency.
  • Establish and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine data auditing, cycle count reconciliation, and system troubleshooting.
  • Participate actively in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system upgrades related to our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integrations.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in inventory analysis, supply chain operations, data quality assurance, or a similar analytical role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with complex formulas, PivotTables, and data modeling to manage large, messy datasets.
  • Strong foundational understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and executing QA test cases, particularly regarding data integrations, platform migrations, or catalog publishing.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data anomalies into clear, actionable operational improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration between technical developers and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases and conducting independent, deep-dive data investigations.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Previous exposure to e-commerce catalog publishing, multi-channel retail integrations, or omnichannel inventory synchronization.
  • Experience working within Agile or Scrum project management frameworks.

What We Offer

  • A competitive base salary commensurate with your experience and skills.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance packages.
  • Paid time off, including vacation days, personal days, and recognized company holidays.
  • A modern, collaborative, and tech-forward office environment located in Mississauga, ON.
  • Dedicated opportunities for continuous learning, cross-training, and professional career advancement within a growing company.
