SCOPE OF THE POSITION: We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and overall performance of our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring that the plant infrastructure, building systems, utilities, and site services operate efficiently and reliably to support business operations. The Facilities Manager will manage facility-related projects, external contractors, preventive maintenance programs, and compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the maintenance and operation of building infrastructure and facility systems. Manage utilities including HVAC, electrical distribution, water, compressed air, fire protection systems and security. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for facility assets. Coordinate and supervise external service providers and contractors. Lead facility improvement, renovation, and expansion projects. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and building regulations. Manage facility-related budgets and control operating costs. Support emergency preparedness and business continuity initiatives. Maintain high standards of workplace safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. Perform other tasks or jobs as required. THE CANDIDATE: Ability to work full-time, onsite. Must be bi-lingual in English and Spanish, with English as the primary language Must be a self-starter and able to drive results and manage multiple projects simultaneously. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities, infrastructure, or building maintenance management within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of building systems, utilities, safety standards, and contractor management. Experience managing budgets and capital projects. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in food manufacturing or regulated production environments.
