Compensation

  • Base Salary: $70,000 – $85,000
  • Uncapped Commission Structure
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $110,000 – $150,000+

    This is not an inbound-only SDR position.
    This is a high-intensity outbound hunter role.
    You will:
  • Make 50+ cold calls per day
  • Build pipeline from zero
  • Identify and qualify your own leads

  • Be measured on activity, pipeline generation, and quota attainment

    About the Role
    Can-Ex Technologies is transforming underground infrastructure inspections through a
    powerful combination of hardware and SaaS solutions.
    We sell to municipalities, engineering firms, and specialized contractors across Western
    Canada.
    Your mission:
    Generate high-quality pipeline through disciplined outbound prospecting while
    conducting consultative conversations that position solutions — not products.
    What You Will Do
  • Prospect aggressively through high-volume cold calling and outbound outreach
  • Generate new B2B opportunities from scratch
  • Conduct structured discovery conversations
  • Identify operational and technical challenges
  • Establish credibility with technical stakeholders
  • Position value-based solutions aligned with client pain points
  • Manage and track KPIs rigorously in CRM
  • Attend trade shows and industry events (30–40% travel)
  • Own your pipeline and contribute directly to revenue growth
    Non-Negotiable Requirements
    You must:
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of high-volume outbound prospecting
    experience
  • Be comfortable with 50+ cold calls per day
  • Have built pipeline from zero
  • Have worked in a structured sales environment with KPIs and performance
    rankings
  • Be able to quantify your performance:
  • Average daily call volume
  • % quota attainment
  • Pipeline generated
  • Demonstrate resilience and mental toughness
  • Show a true consultative approach (active listening, strategic questioning,
    solution positioning)
  • Demonstrate professional stability
  • Candidates must live within 90 minutes of a major airport to accommodate
    occasional travel.
