About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Optical Test Engineer to join our team at Dream Photonics. In this role, you will play a key part in the development, testing, and validation of advanced photonic devices and systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering and R&D teams to ensure the performance and reliability of our optical products meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute optical test procedures for photonic devices and systems.
• Set up and maintain optical test equipment and instrumentation.
• Analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed reports on findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in optical testing.
• Document test protocols, results, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with optical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and optical power meters.
• Strong understanding of photonics, optics, and fiber optic technologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and technical reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a photonics or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with automated test systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
• Knowledge of industry standards for optical testing and quality assurance.
