Human Resources Business Partner

Mississauga or London, Ontario (In-Person) – This position is offered as a 6-month

fixed term contract, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role based on

performance and business needs.

Who We Are Looking For

We’re seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in

Mississauga or London, Ontario. Reporting to the HR Director – Employee Experience,

this inaugural role offers the opportunity to shape and establish Canadian HR practices

within our organization. In this role, you’ll be a key partner to leadership, ensuring HR

strategies align with business goals while fostering a positive and engaging workplace

culture.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership and broader HR team to develop and implement

HR strategies that drive business results.

  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices,

proactively addressing any workplace concerns.

  • Effectively manage employee relations matters.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to

performance management and career development.

  • Lead initiatives in employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture

enhancement.

  • Drive talent development programs, succession planning, and leadership

coaching.

  • Advise on and administer matters related to compensation, benefits, and HR

policies to ensure they remain competitive and equitable.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Completed degree or diploma in relevant field of study preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario and Alberta employment legislation and HR best

practices.

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with leadership teams.
  • Experience managing employee relations with a strategic and objective

approach.

  • A hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for driving results.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Experience with UKG is an asset.
  • CPHR designation is an asset.

Salary Range: $90,000-$105,000 annually

20% Travel
