JOB SUMMARY
The Commercial Excellence Manager plays a critical role in driving business performance by enhancing sales
capabilities, optimizing commercial strategies, and implementing best-in-class practices across the organization.
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing and Finance, to
identify and implement strategies that maximize revenue growth, improve customer engagement, and
streamline operational processes. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives that
promote commercial excellence and support the achievement of overall business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Function
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the commercial and sales approach, including the
development of tools and methodologies for sales performance, planning, and forecasting.
Collaborate with Marketing and Analytics teams to refine customer segmentation and targeting strategies,
ensuring tailored approaches for different customer segments and optimizing market reach.
Design, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing
initiatives. Drive a performance-oriented culture by developing dashboards and delivering insights for continuous
improvement.
Work with Sales and HR to design and implement training programs that elevate the skills and effectiveness of
the sales force, including CRM utilization, product knowledge, and soft skills.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Function
Oversee the effective development and utilization of CRM systems to ensure accurate data collection, sales
activity tracking, and insights generation. Facilitate CRM training and maintain data integrity within the system.
Champion best practice sharing within the region, highlighting the progress of Canada.
Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other departments to align objectives, ensure
consistency in messaging, and streamline go-to-market processes.
Conduct market research to understand competitive positioning and market trends. Use insights to identify
opportunities for commercial improvement and differentiation.
Collaborate with Finance to support the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with
commercial objectives and providing insights for financial planning
Setup and implement the new CRM system, in relationship with the DS Europe Customer Excellence, Analytics
and Solutions Team. Build systems and processes to support the cross functional POD model at the field level.
Work closely with the Commercial Director to setup the Commercial Excellence strategy and needs (e.g. Sales
Force Effectiveness, Channel Effectiveness, Account Planning, Performance, Training, Patient Support Program
Initiatives)
Responsible for the segmentation, targeting, account planning, incentive calculations, CRM system management
and creation of insights / dashboard through market analyses
Work with the Alliance Partners to exchange and implement best practices in the Oncology team.
